The end product of art and craft, is not the principal focus; the process of making it is. The gathering, sorting, collating, associating, patterning, and the initiation of actions and proceedings is the sum. Process artists see the process as the primary art and are interested in demonstrating forces on matter while defending the idea that the process of creating the work of art is the art piece itself.
